December 2010

10 new trucks increase our fleet

The previous expansion, economic improvements and our future plans, demands to increase our fleet. Therefore, we are proud to have added 10 additional tractor units to our fleet in December. The vehicles are tractors from Mercedes-Benz 1846 as a low-liner version. We are able to take all kind of trailers by the height-adjustable fifth wheel. In order to relieve the environment, we have deliberately chosen the EEV emissions standard.

 

April 2010

NEW operating headquarter in Lübeck

At the 1st April 2010 we have moved our headquarter to the Spenglerstrasse 57-63 in Lübeck. Here we have about 10,000 square meters of land with sufficient parking spaces for our trucks. Also, the new location provides large office and social areas, a truck workshop, a truckwash and an own fuel station. The position of our new headquarter is exactly at the motorway A1 (exit Lübeck-Moisling) leading to Travemünde.

Integration into the DINOTRANS GmbH

We would like to inform you, that the DINOTRANS GmbH has overtaken all business activities of the MEGATRANS Schwertransport GmbH in Lübeck. The business will now be continued as usual in the DINOTRANS Group.

 

July 2009

Opening of the DINOTRANS GmbH in Lübeck (Germany)

At 1. July 2009 we have opened an office in Lübeck. Managing Director is Mr. Martin Schmidt, who is over 10-years experienced in trucking business. Lübeck was elected as strategic location for the existing customers of the DINOTRANS group and also for new customers, to allow them to have better access to our trailer trucking services in Western Europe (continent).

 

February 2009

Fleet Management System

In June 2009, we have chosen "tomtomWORK" as our fleet management system and we installed it on all our trucks. This enables us to identify the exact position of our fleet and to communicate with our drivers. Furthermore we had connected "tomtomWORK” with the digital tachograph. This gives us the possibility to manage and control the working hours of our drivers.
